The average child will spend over 1000 hours every year in school and they will spend less than 50 hours in church. The average parent has more than 10 times the opportunities to discuss spiritual issues in one year than a church leader does in 10 years. The church has limited potential to impact the heart of your child. WHAT HAPPENS AT HOME in many ways is more important than what happens at church!
We have tons of volunteers and staff every week creating ideas, crafting environments and coaching kids to help them grow up the right way. BUT WE CAN'T DO IT WITHOUT YOU!
We need you to help us help your kids by doing 3 things.
1. Bring your kids to OneWay Street.
Be sure to help them attend a consistent hour, with the same group of friends and the same leader every week.
2. Make Virtue Packs a Priority.
We believe in OneWay Street that the Church and the Parents can Partner together to make a bigger more lasting impact on our Children. Our Virtue Packs give you the opportunity in a creative way to reinforce what we are talking about through the month.
3. Talk about it every week at home.
Remember, no one can have more influence on your child's faith than you can as a parent
